Half Quel Dorei
Half-Elf (Quel-Dorei)a) History:
No deviation from standard D&D description. However, there are some organizational differences that describe how quel-Dorei Half-Elves interact in this world. all Quel-Dorei Half-Elves live within the society of their human parent, whether it was their mother or father. Quel-Dorei Half-Elves with an elven mother are born in their mother's civilization, as elven women would never give birth outside of elven strongholds, if they have a choice. Additionally, Quel-Dorei Half-Elves with a elven father will allow their human mate to have their child where ever she chooses. Despite the circumstances of their birth, Quel-Dorei Half-Elves will always spend their childhood in the society of their human parent.
B) Role Playing:
Quel-Dorei Half-Elves, like all half-Elves live a life of persecution, mistrust, and rejection. However, among all elven half elves, Quel-Dorei Half-Elves are in truth the most trusted. The Kal-Dorei waged war on the Syn-Dorei. The Syn-Dorei destroyed Yggdrassil albeit by accident. Throughout all of this, the Quel-Dorei kept to themselves, and didn't travel outside their strongholds.
Like all Half-Elves, the Quel-Dorei Half-Elves make great matches to classes where personal interaction is not needed, Such as rangers, Druids, and Monks. Despite the rejection that Quel-Dorei Half-Elves are subjected to, they still manage to have amazing physical appearances. they take on the most attractive features of both humans and elves. Often times, aggressive human men see female quel-Dorei Half-Elf female as easy targets. Consequently, male Quel-Dorei Half-Elves are often used as service workers for older women with great wealth, such as pool boys, gardeners, entertainers, and stewards.
C) Racial features: (These are in addition to standard racial features).
1) Quel-Dorei Half-Elves are typically employed as masters of ceremonies, care takers, personal
stewards, and similar positions. They are aware that they are easy on the eyes, and as such
capitalize on their assets. As such, all Quel-Dorei Half-Elves get the Etiquette proficiency as a
free slot.
2) Quel-Dorei Half-Elves are compelled to learn and study the events around them. Scholars often
speculate that this is a defense mechanism, because had the Quel-Dorei been more aware of the
events around them, they would have known that the Syn-Dorei were going to betray them. As
such, all Quel-Dorei half-Elves have get the Local History proficiency as a free slot.
3) Because of the duality of their birth, Quel-Dorei Half-Elves are exposed to both the dorei
language, and the human tongue of their human parent. as such, all Quel-Dorei Half-Elves get
both dorei, and the human tongue of their parent as free proficiency slots. Note: These count
towards their max number of languages, but they are still free slots.
4) To make their way in the world, all Quel-Dorei Half-Elves typically learn an artistic ability, such
as singing, poetry, a musical instrument, or other form of entertainment. As such, the player is
allowed to choose one form of artistic ability as a free proficiency slot.
5) Quel-Dorei Half-Elves have a tenacity for magic and learning new things. they also have an
innate magical aptitude. As such, all Quel-Dorei half-Elves gain a plus 1 to their mana pool rolls.
Note: Their mana pool roll is still capped at the maximum dice roll possible. This does not apply
if Bounty is chosen.
6) Child of two worlds: Due to extreme exposure to the magical arts, Half Quel-Dorei are granted +1
mana per mana dice level.
D) Restrictions:
1) Due to the fact that Half-Elves are at odds with society, and subjected to racial discrimination,
all Quel-Dorei Half-Elves receive a permanent -5 to reaction adjustment. However, if the half-Elf
is a bard, this penalty is not applied.
2) Alignment: Can be any alignment.
3) Allowable classes: Warrior, Ranger, Death Knight, Priest, Druid, Monk, Thief, Bard, Mage, Warlock.

* hair color: jet black, dark to light brown, Dark to Light Blonde. Most have medium brown.
* Eye color: all ranges of standard eye color. The majority have hazel or blue.
* Skin color: Standard color for their human parent. Half-Elf skin is exceptionally soft on
females. Males are in exceptional physical shape, featuring chiseled physiques.
